About Poems

Cafes, bars and restaurants, poems is a concept created by John Lambert Harman. It is a project revolved around the form the CBR Stanza™.

'Cafes, bars and restaurants' (CBR Poem's) is not a random adventure into 'contemporary' poetry. It is intended to present an artistic and poetic account of it subject within a structure that complements that subject and the artistic aspirations 'CBR's entertain. It is a 'cultural' commentary embracing contemporary 'daily' life and history. The form used for the poems is called the CBR Stanza™. It is a form based on some of the traditional forms for poetry such as the sonnet.
